**SINGAPORE REGULATION**
**What the NEA Framework Requires?**
As of 1 January 2026, Singapore has implemented strict regulations on PFAS-containing firefighting foams (AFFF) under National Environment Agency (NEA) guidelines and the Stockholm Convention.
**What the Regulation Covers:** Operational firefighting foams, Training, testing and maintenance of foam stocks, Contaminated rinse water and flushing effluents from system transitions, Firewater, runoff and wastewater from firefighting operations, AFFF, AR-AFFF, FFFP. **All organisations using or storing firefighting foam must comply with new concentration thresholds:**
**PFOS: < 10,000 ppb** **PFHxS: < 100 ppb** **PFOA: < 25 ppb**
